Amy Adams scored her first best supporting actress Oscar nomination in 2005 for the indie dramedy Junebug, then another in 2008 for her acclaimed performance opposite Meryl Streep in Doubt... and she'll once again compete for that prize at Feb. 27's Academy Awards, this time for her turn as a fiery Boston bartender in The Fighter. But for Adams, the novelty of an Oscar nod has far from worn off. In fact, the 36-year-old actress insists that there's something -- or rather someone -- making this year's nomination just a bit more meaningful than the previous two: Adams' 9-month-old daughter Aviana.
"(This year's nomination is) special because I have a daughter now, and she can see Mommy and all of that," the actress tells Entertainment Tonight. And see mommy she will, as Adams plans to spend all day Sunday getting in some quality time with Aviana. "I'm going to hang out with little girl this time around," she says of her pre-Oscars plans.
Adams' movie The Fighter is nominated for seven awards on the night, including best picture, best director (David O. Russell) and best supporting actor (Christian Bale). Adams will also face off against costar Melissa Leo for the supporting actress statuette. And although many Oscar predictions are calling for Leo to snag the victory in that category, Aviana sure would be proud if Mommy won her first Oscar.

Getting in a little pre-Oscar action, Nicole Kidman showed up at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards today (February 26).
As usual, the ?Moulin Rouge? actress gave the paparazzi plenty to drool over as she hammed it up in the arrivals area clad in a bright red frock prior to the big event.
And Nicole won?t just be a casual spectator this evening - she?s scheduled to hand out one of the night?s coveted awards while also nominated for Best Actress for her work in "Rabbit Hole".
The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Joel McHale handling the hosting duties.
Michael Jackson's children - Prince, 14, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 9 - were photographed playing games and donating time and money ($10,000.00) to a homeless shelter in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday (February 23).
ABC News was on hand to interview the King of Pop's kids. Sounds like showbiz might be in their future: "I'm looking at a couple of opportunities in show business ? mostly producing," Prince said. Paris shared that she wants to be an actress. "I'm thinking about auditioning for a play next week," she said.
