Leighton Meester's Mom Gets Harassment Complaint

In a somewhat bizarre news story, the mother of Leighton Meester was recently slapped with a restraining order due to a harassment complaint.

The ?Gossip Girl? actress' mom, Constance, allegedly threatened to ?hunt down and kill? a Northridge woman and her son over an undisclosed matter.

"She is an addict and has made a threat to kill" the woman, a licensed family therapist in the San Fernando Valley said of the Mrs Meester.

Apparently, the women were "friends" and their kids go to the same school, court documents state.

According to NY Daily News, this isn?t the Hollywood mom?s first run in with the law. She gave birth to Leighton while serving time in federal prison for her connection to a drug ring that smuggled marijuana from Jamaica.

Miley Cyrus: Short-Shorts at the Studio

Spending the day working on her musical endeavors, Miley Cyrus was spotted heading to a recording studio in Los Angeles on Thursday (February 17).

The "Hannah Montana" star certainly wasn't shy with her choice of apparel, as she donned denim short-shorts paired with a sleeveless t-shirt and fringe boots for the midday outing.

In related news, it's being said that Miss Cyrus is livid over her father Billy Ray's recent interview with GQ in which he spoke about his daughter's troubles while blaming "Hannah Montana" for destroying the family.

A friend told PopEater, "To say Miley is angry is an understatement. She's furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?"

"This isn't what a father does. He never said a bad world about Hannah Montana all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable."

Christina Applegate Says Daughter Sadie Has "Healed Me"

Christina Applegate Says Daughter Sadie Has "Healed Me"

Motherhood has had quite the effect on Christina Applegate. The actress, who welcomed her first child into the world on Jan. 27, says the arrival of daughter Sadie Grace has completely changed her world -- in a very good way.

"I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound," Applegate, 39, says in the new issue of People. "And I'm more in love with her every minute of the day."

With the new love of her life settled into the Los Angeles home Applegate shares with fiancé Martyn LeNoble, the actress is approaching her new mommy role with vigor.

"I want to be the ultimate burper and diaper-changer, I want to be the ultimate at all of it," she enthuses. "Sometimes I stand there going, 'I'm not doing any of this right!' And then I get this big man belch out of her and I go, 'Ah, we accomplished this together.'"

Applegate says that after being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy in 2008, she was in search of something else to focus on.

"I've had to talk about that word (cancer) more than I've ever had to talk about a word in my life," she says. "After a while you're like, 'There's got to be something else to me.'"

And then came Sadie.

"Yeah, now I'm Mom. She's healed me in so many ways," says the actress. "She's just made my life so much better. She's opened my whole soul."
