I have all but abandoned this blog and, for that, I am sorry. I am, however, going to get back to it because... wait for it, wait for it... I'm moving to LA for six months starting in June and I'm going to share every dirty detail with you!
You see, Mark and my good friend Patty are executive producers of a new television show that will be taping in New York from June to November. Instead of him getting his own apartment here, we thought it would be more fun to trade places. It's going to be like The Holiday and I get to be Kate Winslet. I'M GOING TO HAVE A CAR AND EVERYTHING. (Watch. Out.)
I'm looking forward to a change of scenery and have other friends out there besides him. Also, the movie is being released at the end of September, so it will be fun to be out there for that.
So anyway, that's what I've been up to—planning all this and getting ready for my (temporary) move. Stay tuned!

In what was quite the special evening, Selena Gomez made her way to ABC studios to perform on the hit show "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday (April 5).
Tweeting to her fans just before showtime, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star excitedly wrote, "Hey Everyone-- I am on set getting ready for tonight's performance on Dancing with the Stars on ABC 9|8c. "
Once arrived and ready, Gomez and her The Scene bandmates delved into a rendition of their new single "Who Says" as Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower delivered their ballroom dance.
As for the elimination night, talk show host Wendy Williams ended up being voted off, as she told DWTS co-host Brooke Burke, "I was probably the busiest person in terms of flying back and forth, you're right. In addition to that, I have a marriage, I have a child, and a litany of other things to hold together?so this has been a wonderful opportunity for me."
Giving props to her partner, Williams added, "I want to thank the judges, and I want to thank you also, Tony [Dovolani], for teaching me how to dance. Because you know, I still can't...despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who still can't do the running man."

Laila Ali is officially a mom twice over! She delivered her brand new baby girl named Sydney Conway early Monday morning. Deets on how mom and daddy Curtis are doing, when you read on....
Boxing queen Laila said in a statement today:
"After a long day of labor, I had a healthy baby girl, Sydney J. Conway," said the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant.
"We are both very tired, but we fell in love the moment we laid eyes on each other. I feel so blessed and overwhelmed with love and excitement. Can't wait to get to know her!"
And tweeted soon after giving birth:

I just KNOW little Sydney's a cutie patootie.

Sydney joins older brother Curtis "C.J." Conway, Jr., who is two-and-a-half. And three half-siblings from former NFLer Curtis Conway's previous relationship: 15-year-old twin brothers Cameron and Kelton and an 11-year-old sister named Leilani.
CONGRATS TO THE FAMILY!

Gathering together to promote their new movie, the stars of "Arthur" made their way to the comedy flick's New York City premiere on Tuesday night (April 5).
Held at the Ziegfield Theatre, leading man Russell Brand was joined by his lovely co-stars Jennifer Garner, Helen Mirren and Greta Gerwig for the Big Apple screening.
Directed by Jason Winer, "Arthur" is the tale of "a drunken playboy who stands to lose a wealthy inheritance when he falls for a woman his family doesn't like."
Meanwhile, Brand recently spoke with press about being drawn to the project, telling, ?My life has been changed by falling in love, so I know that whilst that is a romantic idea ? and in this case fictional ? it?s something that?s happened to me. That?s why I?m so enamored of this story.?
The comedic British actor added, ?They brought me this idea at Warner Bros. very early on, and I said yeah because I really, really loved Dudley Moore, but I kind of thought people talk all the time and you think ?Are these things ever really going to happen?? And I didn?t really imagine they would. Then changing it, when [screenwriter] Peter [Baynham] had the idea of making Hobson female and we immediately, of course, thought of Helen Mirren ? for me, that was the idea that made the film feasible. That was the idea that meant this will actually happen now.?

They're proving to be her crutch as she makes the stressful move to Los Angeles to pursue her American career, but Cheryl Cole has been told to quit the cigarettes or she will never be understood in the States.
The pop star is trying to land a job as a judge on the U.S. "X Factor" and has spent the past two weeks having elocution classes in L.A. to soften her Geordie twang.
However, Cheryl's voice coach has told the 27-year-old to kick her 20-a-day habit if she wants any chance of cracking America.
Yesterday (April 4) it was reported that LA Reid, the only person officially announced so far as being on the show - let it slip that Miss Cole is joining the panel before it could be revealed by executive producer Simon Cowell, who will neither confirm nor deny the news.
