What's Next for Charlie Sheen Now That 'Two and a Half Men' Has Shut Down?

Now that his bad behavior and worse attitude have resulted in Two And A Half Men being shut down for at least the remainder of the season, Charlie Sheen is potentially a free agent. So where does the controversial actor, who was making a reported $1.8 million per episode on the CBS sitcom, go from here?

When Sheen found out that Two And A Half Men was canceling the remainder of the season, he announced that he was already moving on -- to HBO. "I'm close to securing a deal with HBO for a 10 show guarantee," Sheen texted RadarOnline on Friday. The actor said that the network was offering him 5 million dollars an episode for "Sheen's Corner," a show with "all types of guests" that "will focus on the truth and the absurd."

Does that sound kind of like Charlie Sheen made it up? Because it turns out, he did. HBO confirmed to E! News that they are not developing a project with Charlie Sheen. So what is Charlie Sheen doing? Here are three things that are on his checklist for the coming week:

1. He's going on Today and 20/20.
Segments from Sheen's first post-scandal TV interview aired this morning on NBC's Today, with more of the Q&A on the docket for tomorrow's show. In the segment that ran today, Sheen jokes about how CBS will be begging to pay him $3 million an episode to come back to Two and a Half Men, says that the network had no right to shut down the show, and calls himself a "total fricking rock star from Mars." The actor will also open up on the March 1 edition of ABC's 20/20 (with previews on Monday and Tuesday's episodes of Good Morning America).

2. He's shopping a book deal.
The actor tells TMZ that he's writing a tell-all about his behind-the-scenes experiences during eight years of Two And A Half Men, up through the events of the past few weeks. He says he's calling it When the Laughter Stopped.

3. He's trying to prove that he's sober.
Sheen asked gossip site RadarOnline to administer blood and urine tests over the weekend, to prove that there were no drugs in his system. The website says that he passed the over-the-counter urine test -- which he took in front of three staff members! -- and they are awaiting the results of the blood test.

As for CBS, Popeater says that they're thinking of continuing Two and a Half Men without Sheen. "If they found the right person to replace him it would survive and maybe even grow," says an insider. Hmm, if it grows, will it become Three And Three-Quarters Men?

Sandra and Scarlett Keep Their Distance at the Oscars

Sandra and Scarlett Keep Their Distance at the Oscars

The rift between once-good friends Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson still appears to be going strong, with both ladies avoiding each other like the plague at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

"It seemed like both of their arrivals were carefully staged to make sure they were never on the red carpet together," an insider tells me. "They both knew the other was presenting so it was no surprise that they would be at the same event, but they sure managed to keep away from one another."

Oscar-Winner Natalie Portman Talks Pregnancy

She won the top honor at last night?s Academy Awards, and Natalie Portman was glowing for more reasons than one.

After nabbing the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in ?Black Swan,? the 29-year-old beauty spoke of her pregnancy while telling reporters, ?One of the most exciting things about being pregnant is that I'm accepting the complete unknown. It's a complete mystery and miracle. It's really just accepting that I have no idea, which is what all of us live every day.?

The actress added that being pregnant reminded her "where your meaning is, what is actually important in the midst a lot of shiny stuff that is more superficial."

Natalie also mentioned that her unborn child morphed into a ?little dancer? during the ceremony.

"I don't remember anything that happened. But the baby was definitely kicking a lot during the song portion of the show."

Portman is engaged to 33-year-old choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
